CLARITY
Thursday, January 24th, 2008Conducting seminars and small group sessions is so very different for a motivational speaker than presenting a keynote to 500 people. Some speakers prefer the larger forum while others like myself, enjoy the smaller and closer environment to speak in. I enjoy eye contact and audience responses. From various venues I have been requested to “coach” others as to “how to” begin a career as a motivational speaker. I always ask my prospective clients “why would people want to listen to you?” Expert motivational speakers ask themselves that question frequently. Coming up with the answers can be grounding and defining. Self-examination of any kind will move people to get clarity. Don’t be afraid to ask the hard questions, at work, at home or in the mirror.
